For this extension project, Rococo provided our support and expertise to ensure that all products matched the ambition of the architect. Our bespoke aluminium shaped windows in the loft extension and seamless bi-folding doors in the kitchen ensured this project was a total success.
The owners of this already striking property were adamant that the alterations to their home would be finished to an outstanding quality, so they turned to Rococo to deliver just that.
This project included two bi-folding door installations, one 4-part and the other 3-part, both of which would drench the new extension with light and give panoramic views of the beautiful garden.
From conception, build and onto completion, each stage had to be meticulously planned and monitored to be sure that the required standard would be achieved. It was essential our virtual flush threshold was installed exactly to plan as the new stone flooring was being carried through from the internal to external extremities of the build, and that the aluminium bi-fold doors and aluminium window products created a seamless bond between old and new.
Our customer’s builders and structural engineers also drew on our experience for guidance and advice with the aluminium angled window and bi-folding door design, to ensure the extension was properly constructed with adequate steels, which would make sure no deflection or lateral movement would be experienced.
During the design phase our expert designer visited our customer’s home on a number of occasions to review colours and look at finishing options meaning no stone was left unturned in the successful completion of this project.
We used a modern, dark grey colour on our aluminium products which was then picked up and accented by dark grey fascia, brickwork and other hard finishes, tying together the whole project and creating a wonderful new, fresh and vibrant living space that the customer had dreamt of.
Working alongside Chapman Builders - one of our trusted expert building contacts - Rococo provided the external timber alternative French doors and windows, as well as a beautiful 4-part, aluminium bi-fold door set, leading the way into this full kitchen refurbishment project.
Besides the bi-folding door and timber-alternative window and French door products, a new kitchen, structural knock through, brand new flooring and external landscaping were also executed as part of this large project. It was key that Rococo had all of our processes and procedures in place so that we could install in tandem and alongside the build schedule, providing as little disruption as possible between survey and installation.
A 2400mm high, 4-part bi-fold door set was added to this property, allowing the homeowners to maximise their enjoyment of a wonderful courtyard garden. The latter has become an extension of the lounge, courtesy of our newly installed bi-fold set.
