This kitchen extension project made use of our aluminium bi-fold doors and slimline roof lantern to modernise and enhance this living space. The roof lantern enabled lots of natural light to flood into the kitchen, and our close work with the builders’ ensured a flush threshold was created between the kitchen and external patio. Gable Ended Kitchen Extension With Aluminium Bi-Folding Doors - Winchester

In this particular project, showcasing this glorious space was always the plan. We wanted to highlight the key features with as much natural light as possible, and by using three sets of bi-folding doors, we achieved just that. As the ceilings are high vaulted, having a floor to ceiling view was essential to make the most of the new extension, and the final result was a 270-degree view of the garden.

Kitchen Development with Bi-Folding Doors - Winchester

Working with a trusted builder, Roger Ward, Rococo matched colour systems and styling to provide and install this magnificent set of bi-folding doors in the heart of Winchester.

This 5-part bi-folding door set, sprayed in a grey/black, works fantastically with the kitchen units and the white render, but also helps deliver the modern and contemporary space that our customer required.

With the ability to now open these doors right up onto the balcony, we have removed any barriers between the inside and outside, providing a luxurious space for relaxing or entertaining. With the doors closed, the abundance of natural light which floods in the kitchen area makes the room welcoming and homely whilst still achieving its minimalist look.

This 5-part door design was selected by our customer after an extensive review of all available products. Our client opted for our doors as we were able to deliver a product which met their requirements along with high-quality service and lead time which easily worked with their build schedule.

We were able to organise site visits to meet with the builder and monitor the aperture and finished floor levels meticulously to ensure we were able to deliver the standard of installation as seen in the showroom.
