Orchard House in Lymington, London was a classic property belonging to a classic era.
Rococo were tasked with modernising its look and feel whilst retaining this rich heritage.
Our brief was to install windows that harked back to a time gone by but came complete with the benefits of modern technology.
A new focal point, by way of a front door, was also requested to better reflect the character of the home.
During the initial consultation phase our expert team proposed Evolution Flush Windows. A timber alternative range, these products channel the original timber frame, only with UPVC.
The change in material brings with it far less in the way of maintenance but more in the way of versatility. Thermally efficient, with advanced security features, their frames are customisable and cost-effective.
While up to 250+ RAL colour are available the homeowner opted for a white, woodgrain finish which could be quickly and easily installed across the entire property. There were more than a dozen windows to consider. Timber styled joints made for an a nice, added touch.
Turning attentions to the entrance door, after much deliberation, the homeowner plumped for one made by Evolution – or rather the English Door Company. Very much the luxury option, theirs is a product line designed to reflect the richness and depth of real timber.
Hand finished and made to measure they ooze class and give homes a new dimension. We felt a front door of this ilk, in a rich Anthracite colour, would greatly enhance the property.
To our great satisfaction, the homeowner was delighted with her home improvement project and felt it better reflected her surroundings. In combining the old and the new, we gave her property a new dimension.
