Recently we took time out from the office to visit the FIT show (the Fabricator and Installer Trade Show for the glass and glazing industry).
Now in its 2nd year, the show is organised specifically for those in the UK glass and glazing industry, showing latest products, brands and services. We were also able to catch up with those who supply us with our products such as Origin, Quantal, Safedoors and Dutemann.
By visiting shows such as this, we are able to ensure we provide our customers with up to date information on the industry and that our selection of home improvement products (replacement doors and windows, sash windows, external doors, bifold doors, orangeries, garden rooms and more...) are the best we are able to offer.
We ourselves will often come back with a few bits of advice and guidance which we can implement to help us with your goal of continued development and excellent customer service.
The show its self was busy which was great to see , many manufacturers had come and were all keen to show what they have been working on in over the past years. Visitor numbers seemed good as well especially as this show is very young which all bodes well for the industry.
One new bit of kit we may be trying is an expanding tape which helps provide windows with an air tight seal and expands into the gaps between window and brick once installed. Often more ascetically pleasing then some trims and definitely more energy efficient this could be worth the additional investment. Watch this space.
